Customer relationship management (CRM) is becoming even more popular among the
mobile application markets. Even big companies are putting a lot of their investments into
mobile CRM apps. For those are looking for the best CRM mobile apps around, look no
further, these are the current top 5 CRM apps today.

Sugar Mobile

Sugar Mobile is a variant of Sugar Professional or Sugar Enterprise made specifically for the
iPhone or iPad. It provides an easy-to-use interface to make accessing customer data on the
road simple. It also uses the Mobile app to allow users to log calls made on the cell phone.
Google Maps is also interfaced to allow users to bring up addresses on the go. System data is
updated constantly, so there is no need to synch or cradle other devices.

Salesforce Chatter

Salesforce advertises the Chatter as the first cloud-based social platform and application
suited for enterprise communications. It utilizes commonly used features such as found
on popular social networks like Facebook, such as status updates, individual profiles, and
live feeds. Their stated goal is to help companies improve mobile broadband networking
capabilities and subsequent productivity. All data is stored on the cloud and can be accessed
by cellular devices with the Chatter Mobile application.

Consumer testing by Salesforce.com offers conclusive results on the effectiveness of
the Chatter platform. “Executives reported that Chatter is making their employees more
productive, with 28 percent fewer meetings and 32 percent less email. In addition, nearly 50
percent of the users surveyed said they could find information faster than ever before,” stated
Robin Daniels, director of marketing for Salesforce.com. "Companies like Dell and Reed
Exhibitions have deployed Chatter enterprise-wide."

Batchbook

Another social CRM program, Batchbook was made especially for small businesses. It
is available for the iPhone and iPad for mobile broadband accessibility to no frills CRM
features and social networking. Changes made to the main Batchbook account from mobile

devices are automatically synced.

Pamela O’Hare, President of BatchBlue Software: “The new Batchbook iPhone app assures
each person in an organization has the best, most up-to-date information possible to better
manage their relationships and keep their conversations going,"

Box.net Mobile

Box.net offers a slightly different approach to their information-sharing interface. They
utilize a folder/file system to organize uploaded information. From there, files and folders
can be viewed and easily turned into a webpage or blog format. Box.net Mobile is among
the most widely compatible CRM apps, available for Blackberry, iPhone, iPad, and Android
based mobile broadband devices.

Resco MobileCRM

This app was specifically designed to allow sales people and field operatives to access
Microsoft Dynamics customer relations data on their iPhones. This app aims to end the hassle
of having to call their offices to access data while doing fieldwork, and instantly put the data
in their hands when needed. The only exception to this accessibility is email, which one
would have to use a different application to access.
