Storage Consultant - New Jersey

For an US based client we are looking for a Storage Consultant with a min of 6-8 years of technical experience in handling large storage infrastructure. 
We are looking for some one with certification in a few of the below mentioned products

Location: New Jersey
Duration of the contract: 1 year
Rate indication: Based on experience

Capabilities to:
  • Analyze the current storage and backup architectures;
  • Make recommendations for an improved, "next generation" architecture for use at the existing data centers and/or new off-site/remote data centers leveraging existing and/or purchasing new equipment;
  • To conduct an end-to-end review of the current setup, performance, communications, and support management of the existing storage and backup architecture from application/s running on the host servers to storage (SAN/direct attached) to backup infrastructure;
  • Create excellent documentation;
  • To provide a ROI justification.

Exposure on the following equipments:
  • On-site senior storage/Oracle database design analyst/specialist;
  • Expertise on Oracle, EMC/Clarion, Network Appliance, IBM/XIV, and Equalogic;
  • Storage devices, Cisco SAN environments, Symantec Netbackup and i2k backup strategies.
