For a global end client based in Belgium, Retail market, we are looking for a Senior SAP BC Administrator for a 6 months contract.
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Duration: 6 months with potentially further extension
Job Description
Optimization and tuning of full SAP Landscape, including e.g.: - Daily monitoring
- Refresh - Backup/fail-over management
- SAP Transport System maintenance
- SAP Archiving setup & maintenance
- Daily administration of the DB (tables, table space, ...)
- DB patches installation
- Support package installation and SAP kernel upgrade
- SAP EHP Upgrade
- SAP Router installation and maintenance
- SAP System migration/upgrade
- SAP System installation
- Maintenance Central User Administration
- Production and Project support
- Provide technical input to Project requirements
- Work closely with infrastructure teams to realize Project requirements
- SAP training/coaching
- On site coordination willing to travel to other locations.
Requirements - Master degree in IT, Civil Engineer in IT or similar by experience
- 5 years experience in SAP administration and with the infrastructure of SAP BC, installation maintenance, DB
- administration and archiving
- Broad knowledge of ECC, Portal, SRM, MDM, BW, F&R, WMS, Solution Manager
- Specific knowledge on Portal and PI
- SAP NetWeaver Certification would be advantageous
- Knowledge of AIX DB2 is ideal
- Exposure to BMC monitoring tools
- Exposure to TWS in an SAP environment
- Experience in a European context
- Strong communication & listening skills
- Solution minded
- Analytical, proactive and driven by results
- Experience in a Global context
- Ability to work in isolation and within a team environment
- Ability to use initiative based on limited specification
