For a recovery audit firm, based in Wilton, CT, we are looking for a SharePoint Admin.
Responsibilities: - Monitoring, troubleshooting and problem resolution of the global Sharepoint infrastructure and service.
- Building, installing and maintaining Sharepoint 2010 servers.
- Managing site rights and permissions
- Monitoring usage including access, load and usability issues
- Manage and test disaster recovery strategies
- Produce user documentation and training
- Coordinate and support the developer in all SharePoint projects
- Install new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems
Required: - Hands-on experience in SharePoint administration, web hosting, and/or web application development
- Proficient in web technologies including HTML, Java scripting, XML, IIS, etc.
- 5-8 year of system administration experience with Windows platforms, including patching, IIS configurations, performance and security policy tuning.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to research & solve complex issues independently.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure content is produced and posted correctly is a must.
- Good work ethic and self-starting attitude, and ability to work well among a diverse team of professionals.
Preferred: - 5-8 year of business application development experience on the Windows platforms using ASP, ASP.NET, C# and PowerShell.
- Strong database skills including database administration, stored procedures, SQL scripting, and database design when required.
- Server administration knowledge and experience (IIS, DNS, AD, SSL, authentication tools, SQL 2005).
