For a global end client based in Belgium, Retail market, we are looking for a Senior SAP BW Consultant for a one year contract.
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Duration: 1 year
Objectives and key tasks
- Collaborates with business stakeholders to define the user requirements and develops business solutions to fulfill the agreed requirements.

Identify and document reporting needs at
regional and local level
·
Understand business reporting needs and suggest
ways of addressing them with an architecture in SAP BW
·
Design data flows in SAP BW using SAP BI
Business Content and introduce needed customizations to deliver on business
reporting needs
·
Implement Layered Scalable Architecture in BW
7.3 and address performance issues related to processing big data volumes
·
Validate results, participate in UAT and provide
feedback to BW/BO key users
- In adherence to the client company’s policies and while adapting to the business environment. - Willing to travel to other company locations. Profile General skills
- At least 5 years of experience and knowledge of SAP BW ideally version 7.x.
- International implementation experience, in multi-country roll-outs, based on global template.
- Communication skills: regular contact to be established with others inside and outside the organization including co-workers, external, and internal customers.
- Proficient with MS Office applications.
- Requires strong analytical skills and creativity.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Team player and be able to mentor & motivate the team
- Comfortable & able to handle projects with ambiguous requirements
Technical/Functional expertise
Expert knowledge of following SAP BW concepts is essential:
- BW 7.x modelling 4/5
- OO ABAP 3/5
- Customization of extractors in ECC 3/5
- Integration with non-SAP applications 3/5
Retail-business
knowledge is an asset.
