SAP FI Consultant - Public Sector

Financial & Managerial Accounting Application Consultant

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
To address requirements of customers in Public Sector (PS), Build competencies at global delivery to deliver solutions to PS Customers.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 4+ years Public Sector industry experience, with a minimum of 1-2 years of SAP FICO and 3+ years prior business application software or implementation experience

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • Degree in Accounting (MBA or Qualified Accountant)
  • Good knowledge in SAP Financial and Managerial Accounting solution
  • Knowledge of SAP Public sector solution will be added advantage (for e.g. Grant Management, Tax and Revenue Management, Public Sector Accounting, Public Sector Collections and Disbursals)
  • Well developed customer focus
  • Good Presentation and communication skills
  • English at business level is mandatory
  • German at least at conversational level is mandatory
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
  • Be actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization and Go Live of customer implementation projects
  • Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage blueprint workshops/ meetings with internal and external clients
  • Assisting in defining the scope of a project/opportunities, estimating efforts and project timelines
  • Participating in SOW creation and estimating under guidance from a Bid Manager
  • Providing a creative source of ideas/solutions to address problems
  • Delivering billable components that meets a customer’s needs
