For an international SAP implementation project we are searching of the next possible date for a: SAP Service Transition Manager (m/w)

Job description:

• Manage deployment of SAP releases starting from the move into the daily operations until production cutover
• Ownership of Operations Release Implementation Project Plans
• Being the single point of contact for the SAP Program Tech Delivery once a Demand request is approved for implementation
• Coordinate deployment in the daily operations with SAP Tech Delivery team
• Mobilize and co-ordinate all required infrastructure teams and SAP Operations teams and external suppliers of SAP Operations and track their deliveries
• Manage execution of Operational Quality Gate prior to move from project environments to daily operations, including review and acceptance of deployment documentation, transport lists, cutover project plan
• Manage Operational Quality Gate Execution for Operational Quality Gates prior to Technical Cutover and Transition into daily operations and provide Quality Gate report
• Key deliverables are e.g. Operations Release Implementation Project Plans, Status reports, Risk & issue lists, Risk assessments, Quality Gate Reports

Skills needed:

• Good knowledge about SAP architecture & involved Stakeholder Groups
• ITIL Foundation Certification
• Strong Project Management skills
• very strong communication skills & facilitation skills also on higher management level
• international project experience is mandatory
• fluent in English, German nice to have

Duration: three months with extension option
