For an international SAP implementation project we are searching of the next possible date for a: SAP Service Transition Manager (m/w) Job description: - Manage deployment of SAP releases starting from the move into the daily operations until production cutover
- Ownership of Operations Release Implementation Project Plans
- Being the single point of contact for the SAP Program Tech Delivery once a Demand request is approved for implementation
- Coordinate deployment in the daily operations with SAP Tech Delivery team
- Mobilize and co-ordinate all required infrastructure teams and SAP Operations teams and external suppliers of SAP Operations and track their deliveries
- Manage execution of Operational Quality Gate prior to move from project environments to daily operations, including review and acceptance of deployment documentation, transport lists, cutover project plan
- Manage Operational Quality Gate Execution for Operational Quality Gates prior to Technical Cutover and Transition into daily operations and provide Quality Gate report
- Key deliverables are e.g. Operations Release Implementation Project Plans, Status reports, Risk & issue lists, Risk assessments, Quality Gate Reports
Skills needed: - Good knowledge about SAP architecture & involved Stakeholder Groups
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Strong Project Management skills
- very strong communication skills & facilitation skills also on higher management level
- international project experience is mandatory
- fluent in English, German nice to have
Start date: at short notice Location: Rhine-Ruhr area Duration: three months with extension option
