SAP Retail Training Project Coordinator - Belgium

For a global end client based in Belgium, Retail market, we are looking for an SAP Retail Training Project Coordinator for a 6 month contract.

Start date: January 2012
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Duration: 6 months

Position in Organization Chart

IT, Training
Expert level, with team leader level for small team of functional experts.

Objectives and key tasks

Partner with the Company Learning Manager to elaborate training activities and deliverables that are in line with the functional requirements and business processes in place on a regional level while taking into account local specificities.

Responsible for overall coordination of training content and deliverables within the SAP Retail Program.

Ensure PMO standards and methods are utilized, including use of QA standard methods and tools

Provide leadership to Quality Control management. Ensure training material and environment needs are met for the program

Work in adherence with the client company’s policies and while adapting to the business environment.

Profile

General skills: 
  • At least 6-10 years of experience and knowledge in implementing SAP applications and/or training SAP users. 
  • International implementation experience, in multi-country/multi-language roll-outs, based on global template. 
  • Communication skills: regular contact to be established with others inside and outside the organization including co-workers and internal customers. 
  • Proficient with MS Office applications. 
  • Strong decision making skills and ability to use discretion. 
  • Requires strong analytical skills and creativity. 
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. 
  • Team player and be able to mentor & motivate the team
  • Comfortable & able to handle projects with ambiguous requirements

Technical/Functional expertise: 

Expert/strong knowledge of following areas is essential:
  • QA processes and Training methodologies – 4/5 
  • MM Master Data Set-Up and Maintenance – 2/5, 
  • SAP functionality covering SAP ECC, IS-Retail (i.e. Material Management & Inventory Management, etc.), backed by functional knowledge – 3/5 
  • Training tools, including Solution Manager, SPP/U-perform, SAP Quality Centre (HP) and should have used it for implementation – 3/5 
  • Extensive experience in creating Training Strategy, Plans, techniques, tools, metrics and reporting – 4/5 
Knowledge of other core SAP business modules including Finance, Sales, BW.
