HR MANAGER Benelux - Breda

Job Objective: 

We are looking for a dynamic Belgian HR Manager based in the Northern part of Belgium & interested to work from the Breda (NL) site. 

Provides overall HR management, and defines a local Human Resources vision & strategy which support the company objectives, is a member of the local management team in Breda. This position is responsible for establishing programmes guaranteeing: employee recruitment, development, retention, safety and welfare as well as compensation & benefits. It’s a generalist role within a dynamic company. 

Main activities
  • Defines a Human Resources vision, strategy and policy
  • Directs the implementation of short & long term operational strategy to achieve the company's commercial objectives.
  • Assists and advises the Management Team in planning and decision-making.
  • Assesses the impact of business decisions, new business initiatives, operational alternatives, and industry and economic trends, as well as developments in the areas of social-, labour- and other legislation; measuring the potential risk and reward as it pertains to the company and its employees.
  • Helps shape and develop the Company's culture, vision & values, and proactively develops Human Resource strategies that will reinforce them and enhance the company's ability to meet its strategic & commercial objectives.
  • Directs the preparation and management of deliverables such as Management Development, Compensation & Benefits, Manpower Planning and employee statistics etc.
  • Identifies & respects legal requirements & government reporting regulations affecting the HR function.
  • Guides and directs a process of proactive organizational planning that evaluates workforce structure, job design, and manpower planning throughout the company. 
  • Formulate a Human Resource strategy for organizational development and executive succession; and ensure that appropriate plans are in place to attract and retain qualified and diverse talent.
  • Guides and oversees the company's employee relations strategy and practices to establish positive employer-employee relationships and union relationships
  • Supporting more than two sites, more than 250 employees
  • More than 5 years of seniority
