This role provides SAP functional and configuration expertise to international SAP projects as well as to application support and maintenance.

Permanent Position in Berlin, Germany.

The main focus is on Master Data Management in the areas of logistics/manufacturing, engineering integration, materials management and production planning processes especially in SAP applications. There is a particular focus on material master, BOMs (Bill of Materials) and document management.

Main duties:

• Supporting the further deployment and development of the VCM (Value Chain Management) template with global and common processes.
• Preparing and conducting workshops with the business to specify business requirements and discuss potential application solutions following the business and IS strategy.
• Secure the involvement of all functions contributing to the development, such as authorization, other SAP or non-SAP applications. (Integration management for the specific task)

Desired profile:

• A deep knowledge of the core logistic, engineering integration, materials management and production planning business processes and SAP applications including the SAP configuration (able to customize in the PP and MM modules with a solid knowledge of ABAP programming).
• The main process to be covered by this position is the creation of material master data, bills of materials and documents out of PDM data and directly in SAP, as well as the processing of these data in the areas of SAP materials management and SAP production planning (especially BOM management).
• Good understanding of engineering processes and extensive experience with interfaces in this area.
• 3-5 years relevant SAP experience, experience of 1 full cycle SAP implementation at minimum.
